Vores historie
Where It All Began
We both started in a familiar place — deep in the trenches of research, scrolling through fertility forums, blogs, and studies at all hours, searching for anything that might help our next cycle. In that sea of information, we found each other. Two strangers on parallel journeys who quickly became friends, then confidantes, then one another’s biggest source of strength.
Over the next 3-4 years, we supported each other through the ups, the heartbreaks, the questions, and the long waits. We listened, we cried, we celebrated every small win. We shared what we were learning — from clinic questions to hormone protocols, nutrition tweaks, non-toxic self-care swaps, mindset tools, and more — anything that may help to improve our chances.
Why We Built This Space
We’re incredibly blessed and grateful that our long IVF journeys led to our happy endings — and today, we each have a beautiful baby. But we never forgot how hard it was to get here. That’s why we created My IVF Buddy.
This space was born out of countless conversations, research, note taking, and deep diving into studies and blogs — not just as a way to make sense of our own journeys, but as a lifeline we could offer to others. Everything we’re sharing here began as something we shared with each other — little discoveries, questions to ask, swaps to try, ways to cope, and reminders that we weren’t alone.
We’ve been through many ups and downs in our IVF journeys, and we share our experiences here with honesty and care. Some parts of our story, especially those that involve our children directly, are theirs to own and share if and when they choose. We hope you understand and support that choice.
Hvad du finder her
We’re starting with a mix of research insights and personal experiences, helpful resources, and emotional support grounded in real life. Everything we share is here to spark ideas and questions you can explore further — never instructions to follow. Our goal is simple: to pass on what we’ve learned (and what we’re still learning) in case it helps open the right conversations for you. If even one person feels a little more seen, a little more supported, or a little less overwhelmed because of what we’ve built, then it’s already worth it.
We’re Doing the Digging, So You Don’t Have To
We don’t have all the answers. But we believe deeply in the power of shared stories, open-hearted support, and the kind of information that comes from lived experience. We’re committed to continuing our reading, research, and conversations so we can share what we find in one place — in the hope that it saves you from the hours and hours of scrolling we know all too well. We’ll do the digging so you don’t have to — and we’re so glad you’re here.
With warmth and solidarity,
Alexandra & Alison
